Now, a post as meaningless as you! ACDS is pretty. Not these guys, This game. It's not state of the art and what-not, but it has a very pleasant appearance. Oh, and folks? Guess what. No mandatory Matching Hat. Pick your own, or opt for just a hair style, courtesy of Nook! The game, while graphically lessened, will maintain about the same amount of neighbors, buyables, and catchables. The events will be new because this game is gonna be one kind world-wide. Non-denominational to the max! Player houses are also handled differently. They'll be much bigger, rumored 3+ stories, and you can actually pick your spot! The downside is one house per town. That house will hold all 4 PCs, which can then play together off one cart via a long download. Other players tap in via Wi-Fi (Excellent choice on my dad's part, getting that put in.) and play from around the world. It also works with the DS's innate Wi-Fi, obviously. If you know someone's town and name, they can access your town if you're in. No visitors when the host is out! I'm terribly excited about this game. Gonna be something cool. Watch the video on Nintendo's site! And what else? We are your average ordinary/ Super human punishers of evil/ Rock 'n' Roll band. Yeah. More Aquabats. They are seriously the best band in the world.Yes, even greater than the Pillows. Here's a chart: See? Even when properly cased, the Pillows are still unfavored by the little alligator thing the teachers told us about in... like... second grade. The alligator sees how tasty the Aquabats must be due to superior jam-osity and would rather eat them. I wouldn't though. Eat them, that is. They wouldn't be able to jam anymore. And the Bat Commander is all fat. He'd be chewy. Not that Chewy. The kind that describes foods. If you try to eat Chewy I will kill you. The Aquabats would help. Despite claiming in the Aquabat March to be "Peaceful, Happy Aquabats." On a more complete note... Their new album, Charge!!!, is fun. Everyone one should get it and totally rock out to the hip beats, despite the beats being hip. Counter-culture is for people that are too insecure about their personal image to try something that might be popular because it's fun. If, and I mean if, football were fun, I'd play it, even if the jocks did too. But it's not, so I'm not concerned. I'm impressed... Two charts and a it went all over the place. That's a high-quality post, there.

It's almost like I put it there... (This post will be lengthened with non-sense at a point in the future! Keep your eyes on it!)
The Lengthening: That looks like I spelt it totally wrong, but even when I do spell check, it will stay that way. Ha.
Earthbound --------------- Have I mentioned recently that Earthbound is the best game ever, seriously? I'm going for another run in it. Here's why it is better than every other game ever that has or will be, except its own sequel, perchance:
An example of a perfectly reasonable enemy in this game is the "Attack Slug" or "New Age Retro Hippy" or "Master Belch." The game's humor appeals to the 8 year-old in you. And then there's the Zombie Chick. She lures you into a hotel with her sexy 40 some pixels, after you’re told by a shady guy staring at her from behind a corner how hot she is, only for you to be knocked out by the undead.
When you enter the Naming Screen, enter a name, and hit okay, you hear a murmur. Turns out, this is Shigesato Itoi, the man behind the monster, saying "Ok desu ka?" It's just that cool. The fighting uses 4 boxes, an enemy pixel, and the colors a acid-user sees. The only fancy animations are for PSI attacks, (Psychic, not Pounds per Square Inch! That would be cool though) and the lack of "totally rad graphics, dude" don't really hinder it. I might lean closer to saying it helps stay out of that sort of mindset. I still the strongest attacks without it, by the SFX or the numbers that are shown.
The game is linear, but that line has points on it, and every nook of those points are filled with useless dialogues that simple give a grin. The game actually lets you traverse the world after the game ends. There's no purpose. At most, you can fight another enemy, but you've beaten 14 of those by now. The ending only lets you see new newspapers by staying in hotels, chat with folks, or ride your bicycle in the marsh for another SFX that wasn't used anywhere else in game. The fact that there is a guy that says "Fill in the blanks: A Beatles song XXXterday." And gives you nothing for it only makes the game that much more lovable. A sign that says "Don't step on the flowers." right above flower, so that to read it you must be on the flowers.
Earthbound isn't graphically the best, the sounds are dated, and the characters aren't totally rad.
If I wanted those, I'd touch an X-Box.
Earthbound is the best because it is fun. I still get a kick out of the game after my 8th-ish run. Because it’s got quirks, quarks, and quacks. The later two would be enemies, Mr. Molecule and Mad Duck, respectively. There's no frenzy. Hardly any skill. Too much trouble? The game was boxed with its Player's Guide or there's an in-game hint purchasing service. I can sit back and just appreciate the world that the Japanese voice for the Totoro Dad created for me. And I love it. Every time.

Heh, I was wondering who that "Okay desu ka" was coming from.
You know what my favorite thing in earth bound is? The fact that they let you name your ultimate attack! They ask you what your favorite thing is at the beginning of the game, and I just out of the blue say "beets" (I love beets, but I already put 'kim-chi' as my favorite food). I forget about it for awhile, and soon enough i learn an attack named 'psybeets'. "Wow", I say, "that's a pretty cool name for an attack, but i wonder why they named..... wait". It's this kind of hilarious randomness that makes me wish it didn't go for so much on E-bay. *sigh* Ah wel.... I'll be able to download it on my revolution when that comes into play.
BTW, i've now discontinued my rom play of EB. Like I said, I'll be able to download it on the revolution, and also for some reason the rom sent me back from just after beating master bealch to back where you cross the lake with jeff for some reason. That pissed me off, so I finalized my quitting. I still plan on keeping psybeets as my bestest attack come the downloadable revolution version. Who knows, they might enhance the graphics a little (they said they were going to do that for some games).

hey sorry i havn't posted in a while. I spent most of summer locked in the hell of summer school. Anyway, I must agree with Zargon in that Meteos is an excelent game. Not only is the gameplay awesome, but the music is super cool. I mean when NP said it had good music, i was skeptical, but I was to be proven wrong. (End Of the Universe is my favorite song). There are so many (well, at least bunch) of new games coming out soon (well, 4th quarter soon) that I had to get a summer job just to support my habit. ACDS, Nintendogs, Twilight princess, and [glow=yellow,2,300]KINGDOM HEARTS 2[/glow]I dont know why but this just seems to be the game that I'm most excited about now. So Vite got to go to the Mecca of nerds this summer. (Im not jealous, Im not jealous)The biggest trip I took this summer was to the Grand canyon. yup, its still a big hole. Sorry, I seethe with bitterness. Glad you got to go Vite and I think I speak for all of us when I say I hope you brought back a ton of cool foreign crap. I must go now, the hotdogs beckon. mmm. . .food.

I'm really not too excited about KH2. 1 was good, but I think when they try it again it will cause hearts to break, unending nightmares, rivers to run blood, locusts, frogs, boils, fire from the sky etc. I think you get the idea. Sequels and Square don't get along very well anymore. I guess... I've heard nothing but astoundings about Meteos. I'll probably end up with it by the end of the month, or depending, the week. Oh, Me in Japan. (For future reference, orange text means a link. I use it for big pictures or pictures from other sites. This is the former.)On a side note, I have a job. It was the first day, so I'll say nothing yet. It is, however, the same place Lorin works at, so we have the occaisional chance to small talk now and then.

hmm, i thought it was more than just a coincidence that Japan sank into the Pacific while Ryan was there. Also your probably right about KH2, but I can hope that Squre might screw up and make it good. (I blame enix for this all to by the way. Have you ever played grandia) Oh, if anybody cares, i was just trying to make a geocities account and it turns out that the site is on fire or somthing. BURN BABY BURN!!! For those who may wonder why I was getting a account (probably no one, but you probably also have nothing better to do than read on) Caitlin is incharge of Expo this year and she (through my internet[hers blew up]) is setting up a website and an email account. So look for that in the future. The e-mail is ready so if you have ideas or want to go, e-mail at [glow=green,2,300]hhsax2006@yahoo.com[/glow]. hmm. . . I think i'd buy Ryan's Rampage, but would I buy the sequal Ryan's Return:Terror in Tokyo?

Enix is not the problem here. They produced ActRaiser, Mischief Makers, Dragon Quests, EVO: Search for Eden, Soulblazer/Gaia/Terringama series. They were, at one point, pretty good. The problem is the money whoring they're doing. I don't trust GeoCities. Those webservices in general are buggy. I tried once, but got no luck. I was gonna use it to host pics, but ImageShack was quicker and it's got this little frog as its mascot. So, where I work we have music playing in the background. Classical stuff mostly. It would be okay once, but the same stuff plays everyday at the same time. It bothers me. I want to hijack them and play things that totally rock instead. And different things everyday. With 8-hour shifts for me, I start over every 11 days. Cause I'm gonna hear that Scottish girl again, and she's still gonna irratate me. It's actually Ryan's Rampage 2: Hawaiian Hunger. Now with eating buildings! It's revolutionary like that, cause eating is awesome. (I'm looking at you, Metal Gear!) On a final side note: it's odd that the boards recognize me as a staffer, yet I'm not.

Guys, check this out: ds.ign.com/articles/640/640974p1.htmlAs of now, I've already ordered it off ebay (seeing as how there is no chance it'll ever come here). You've got some Japanese high school punks acting as cheer leaders for everyone from an old pottery maker guy, to a viloinist with stomach pains. What's not to love? It'll be rather hard following the plot with me being rather unskilled at reading kanji, but the pictures already amuse me enough to make up for it! Seriously, half way though the potter level, the old potter starts being a scratch DJ! Ryan, DON'T EAT DON HO!!!!

I've read about that game. It sounded fun, but I don't think I'd buy it. It just wouldn't keep my attention long enough. And those guys aren't acting as cheer leaders. That's what Japanese cheer leaders are. Boys, exclusively, dressed in the black. They have amazingly loud yells. And Taiko drums. The Taiko drums are important. About Don Ho...

Man, that was fast. It sure doesn't take Jean very long to go and buy something cool after showing him a video or screenshots or something. Hey, while you're at it, buy this. And this. And this And hell, why not this.p.s. the DS has nothing on Sailor Moon

It wasn't just you. Sure, you may have introduced me to it, but after watching those videos like a thousand times I decided that my money couldn't be spent any better than that. Screw college!
Oh yeah, and that sailor moon thing looks innovative and hot...... hotovative? Hinnovative? Inno....vot? My cousin has the turtles on for genisis, so I could always ask him for it (since his genisis is broked). As for the other two.... I think I've already scammed my mom out of one ebay purchase too many this month, so i otta hold off.

I'll take that as a "Thanks, Kyle! You're a super genius with incredible taste and I love you forever! Here, have free money! No no, don't give me that look, just come on over and pick up a lot of free moneys!"
By the way, TMNT Tournament Fighters is a completely different game on each system (SNES, Gen, NES). The SNES one is far and away the best and has this hot ninja chick thrown in for some reason. Oh, and Karai.
