With school only a week away, I figure now's the time to reorganize the forum. I still need to round up Christy to actually do the moving (and make sure she approves of the changes), make sure that we can stick all the topics from one forum into another, and hammer out the little details, but here's how I think it should look:
Club Stuff -Announcements -Showing This Week -Manga/Anime Exchange -Suggestions and Comments Anime Expo -Plans (absorbs Costume ideas) Discussion -Anime/Manga/Game Related (formerly "Talk") -General (absorbs Random Insanity, Stories of the Club, Symposium) -Reviews
Instead of just going ahead and doing this without warning, I'm posting this for all three of you who currently frequent this place. Feel free to offer suggestions/comments.
Currently I'm only thinking of cutting out four forums (less than I expected, actually), although I'm considering merging Anime/Manga/Game Related with General and just having a single general discussion forum, since over the past school year, we weren't exactly overflowing with new posts in the first place. I have it like this right now for the sake of having a discussion forum with "Anime/Manga" in the title.
p.s. this place is allergic to tabs for some reason

Sounds good to me. Seems about what we actually need. Right now we have a few too many that just sit happy and empty.

I like the whole new reorganization thing, but I don't think the review section is needed: nobody has done a review in a while.

Okay guess, what do you think? The sub-boards are there incase any other conversations aren't finished i didn't want to just delete the posts and I wasn't about to go and move every single post. If it bugs you guys enough, i could go through and just move the most recently posted in threads. But yeah, for the most part, just create new threads in the board, not the sub boards. Uh, other then that, what do you guys think? Anything that needs to be fixed, changed or whatever? What do you guys think?

The sub boards actually make things look more confusing than they really are. If you could, it'd be better to move recent ("I won't accept...dead") threads and important threads (trading lists) to the proper forums and level what we don't need. Also, could you copy/paste save the trading lists, if possible, just as back up in case something unexpected happens during this?

I moved a couple ( a total of two i think it was) threads from out of the sub boards. IF ANY ONE WANTS (thats enough caps, just wanted to get your attention) to have a thread in a sub board saved for whatever reason, tell me (reply in this thread, pm me, talk to me in rl whatever) by this SATURDAY evening. I will go through saturday night and delete all posts in sub boards (unless you need me to save something) then. Also, i hope to do a general clean up of stuff, hopefully that night too, but maybe later, we'll see. This means that any thread, i repeat, ANY THREAD, that has not been posted in since the beginning of july 2005, i will delete (excepting of course, trading lists and other such things if they apply). So if you want a thread saved (this is every thread, not just sub boards now) for whatever reason, just post in it, or tell me. Not sure when i'll do this clean up, but hopefully i will do this on saturday with the sub board clean up. uh.... oh, and i'm having a contest.... the winner gets...uh.... praise and bragging rights for a day. how do you win? Well, answer these two questions- do you want to change the color of the forums, just to change things up a bit, get something new going? If so, what colors would you like to see? if enough people want to change the colors, whoever's color scheme i pick will win. If no one wants to change the color scheme then uh... everyone wins...or something. But i just thought it might be nice to get a change of scenery around here. letsee (yes, letsee is one word.... in christyland anyways), what else do I have to ramble about? I think...thats it.... so yeah, to summerize- i'm deleting all threads unless people show interest in them. yay. SATURDAY is your deadline.

oh, and kyle, its no big- its either this or do homework, and i think we all know what is more important! ^_^ plus, you're helping out with TONS of other stuff too

Alright you guys, i cleaned up a bunch of stuff...in case you didn't notice. If i did everything right, all sub-boards should be no more. Hopefully I didn't delete any needed posts, but I did give you all a warning. If you guys find something amiss, stuff in wrong catagories or threads that you needed that are now gone or whatever, just pm me or post here or whatever and I'll try to fix it.

Only problem I see is that we have two general boards with the same mission statement. The threads from this one should probably be moved to the actual discussion forum general board and then we can have one for everything. It's kind of confusing otherwise.

I want to keep the two general boards seperate, because one is club related stuff, and one is other stuff.
